Trail: Mt. Waumbek via Star King Trail

Date Hiked: 05SEP06

Conditions: Surprisingly little mud despite the recent rain. Most of the mud was in the saddle between Star King and Waumbek. Previously mentioned blow downs seem to have been cleared as I did not encounter any. A few flies at the summits but no bugs.

Special Required Equipment: I wore my gaiters and was glad I did but they probably weren't necessary.

Comments: Absolutely no one on the trail today. While the rain held off the summits where still cloud covered so no views either.
