Trail: Hancock North and South via Kanc

Date Hiked: 5/28/06

Conditions: A little muddy down low, drying out by the afternoon. Some larger puddles in the traverse between the peaks nothing deeper than your ankle though. A few blow downs but nothing of consequence. Stream crossings all pretty easy. Bugs were noisy but weren't biting or swarming.

Special Required Equipment: Gortex footwear made the streams and mud a breeze.

Comments: Very uneventful day. Beautiful weather, mid 70's at the peaks with just a touch of haze. Passed about 20 people on the trail, its getting crowded out there. (13 + 14, 34 to go.)
